Simba Sports club - 2006/07 Winners

Chief Thomas Marealle II Cup inaugural tournament ended in Moshi on Sunday seeing hosts Polisi FC lift the cup after beating Ajax of Manyara 2-1.

The final match which attracted a large crowd of Moshi residents was played at the Moshi University of Co-operatives grounds.

Ajax were shocked in the 52nd minute when Polisi increased the tally through Peter Malanji who slotted home the ball after he was set through by Magayane.

Ajax scored their goal in the 85th minute when Godfrey Karumbeta connected home a left wing free kick.

Bafana Bafana settled for the third slot after handing Green Stars a heart breaking 10-0 defeat. They were awarded a goat, a set of jersey and two balls.
